The volunteers, Board members and people associated with CARH are wonderful, compassionate people who make a difference and bring a smile to many. Just attended a fundraiser for Community Assistance for the Retarded and Handicapped (CARH) at the Greek Orthodox Church in Castro Valley. Administrator Trevino, along with Bryan Hooper, Deputy Administrator of USDAs Multi-Family Housing Division each served as presenters on the Council for Affordable and Rural Housing (CARH) 2012 mid-year meeting in New Orleans CARH is a national nonprofit trade organization focusing on issues affecting rural housing. Community Assistance for the Retarded and Handicapped, 20513 Alameda St For almost four decades, CARH has used the proceeds from a household donation pick up service to provide an almost daily roster of social and recreational activities for the special needs community.
